Open the desired player file (you can figure out which one you want by looking at last modified date) with Notepad or a similar text editor which lets you see the special characters. Difficulties will look like this: Note the ACK in Casual difficulty. Open the chat bar and type '/admin' to enable privileges for your character and then type '/spawnitem' followed by the item ID of the equipment you want to make it appear. Just remember to type in.
The Character Creator is the UI window to setup a new character in Starbound. This is where the player selects a race, gender, and customizes the elements of their base appearance, Then give them a name. There are seven different playable races currently; The Apex, Avian, Floran, Glitch, Human, Hylotl, and Novakid. Choose from one of 7 playable races and customize your character; Save the universe in an epic story campaign featuring colorful characters, bosses, dungeons, and quests! You're the captain of your very own starship! Decorate it, expand it, and use it to explore a procedurally generated universe. I host a server using starboundserver.exe and 'Join' it using 127.0.0.1 as the target IP address with two separate instances of the game, meaning I launch starbound.exe two times. The other one is the old character and other one new character. Then in-game the old character invites the new character to the party from top left corner of the screen.
